Yup.. it’s true. Rumor was Prime TV was going to be offered on Bell Expressvu eventually, but looks like it will be ARY Digital.

I am not sure when they are going to air the channel on Bell, but I would expect withen 3 months time, as they are saying really soon. :k:

Peopleschamp, I hope its not prime, as prime already airs on Dnetwork… I mean Canada can get Dnetwork, as well as Vu, and the US can get both, so having Prime on both would suck! But having prime on one, and ARY on the other will be mutually beneficial!

Umair, from what I heard there were 100 new International Channels being added to Dishnetwork this summer. I haven't seen anything new!
If I were you, I'd phone KBS (www.kbs-tv.com) and ask them when the new channels are comming. Supposedly there was a new Pakistani channel comming (maybe GeoTV), and tons of Indian channels (DD, Star, , Zee Music, etc.)

of course it's comming to USA if it's comming to Canada. Most likely US will get it first and Canadians will be stealing the signal like they do with Prime. Sorry Canadians.

Wrong. There is a greater concentration of south asians in canadian cities than in american cities. It wouldnt be a surprise if it came to Canada first.

Greater concentration in a few cities vs. total overall subscribers in US. It would make a difference if we were talking about the old cable or local programming, but for a satellite station which is goign to depend on subscriber revenue it could be a pretty interesting decision.

e.g. 1000 ppl in 2 cities, or 10000 ppl in 12 cities..hmmm

apparently after contacting ATN I have recieved the info that it would be a good long time when ARY Digital comes to Bell Express Vu like couple of months where as on Rogers Cable ARY will start towards the end of this month or start of the next month,
no word apparently on Sony or SetIndia tv but from what I think they will give a free preview of 3 new channels i.e. ARY Digital, SetIndia Sony TV, and ATN KERALI
we just have to wait and watch and I really hope ATN doesnot include its own programming in ARY Digital.

How'd you find out that ARY Digital will be available on Rogers soon?

I just went through the ARY Digital's sched. and most of the dramas seem old to me. For some reason, Ptv Prime's programs seem much better to me.

Anyway, it'd be nice to have a Pakistani channel on Rogers, inshAllah.
