The basant programme was aired yesterday 10.00pm GMT standard time in the UK. It had Shehzad Roy, Fakhir, Shazia Manzoor, Shahida Mini, and a few other singers.
For me the most annoying and frustrating thing was that The TV actress Javeria Abbasi was dancing to the latest Indian songs and even Nirma danced to an Indian song.
I got bored and changed channels.
Ary is a pathetic channel and why do our stars have to dance to Indian songs. Do we have no music of our own or is yet another case of feeling inferior.

last night’s basant musical show was fine. But like Goodfella it did irk me to see Javeria Abbassi dancing to the song “Rang de basanti” I mean hello?? do they even realize that the “rang de basanti” is a name used to describe the Indian flag and has NOTHING to do with the basant festival. I mean how much more dumb can you get??? Of course ARY stole the name “Rang de basanti” and changed it to “rang de basant” to promote the basant programs

and then tonight they had some basant special where they were interviewing people and what they thought about basant and what they did…out of all the people that were interviewed..only one said that it was a silly thing that people did..

Smilestar when Nirma came on for her first performance she did dance to Nazia Hassan's song but when she back for second performance she was dancing to an Indian song.

I watched some of 'just chill' and it was terrible. Way too much of overacting. Didn't think an actor like Qawi Khan would take such a roll.

.. such a boring program two boring host come and go.. and singers singing same songs over and over ..also wat is wrong with pakistan? why are they dancing to indian filmi songs.. isnt there a gud song from "reema's latest venture"? or our pop songs ?.. and what was shahida mini doing?

Javeria Abbasi yeah thats her name...she was soo bad...man she didn't even know how to dance... she looked soo pathetic..she was pretty much insulting herself by doing that...yeah so over all the show sucked...well that was the only part that i watched..a total waste of time

Anyone saw Basant Babu on Geo or PTV? Sohaild Ahmed was in it. It was the most hillarious program I have seen in the recent times.
