…is the greatest companion to gosht, in a salan. If you don’t know what it is, or how it tastes, I strongly suggest you contact your nearest aunty or uncle who cooks Pakistani food. It is a splendid and creamy veggie with the consistencies of Aaloo…only it has superior taste.

In english, it is called Taro Root.

Reha, try marinating it with yogurt for 30 minutes after peeling and then bhoon it nicely in masala. it wont be much slimy this way

arvi gosht is my favourite!
add half a teaspoon of vinegar or lemon juice in your arvi it wont be slimy then....

One of my favourites too, I like its combo with gosht or qeema, Arvi qeema has more superior tastethan gosht combo in my opinion. But here in Australia they are not available fresh so have to depend upon frozen cur one.
