I believe it was sami bowling to Ghambir. Big nick but the LBW appeal was denied. The tracker clearly showed that there was a nick along with the pad.
Arun actually declared that the tracker was flawed… man what nerve. Thats just one of the incident’s .. I will post more of my observations about him later.. in the mean while do share this dumb a$$'$ commentry here…
he actually is prettyu biased based on what i heard in this test match
he refuses to give credit to pak team and always tries to find an excuse for india's lackluster performance
Actually Arun wasn't so bad through out this test. It was Ravi and Sohail with a mix bag of comments,,, made no sence whats so ever,,, Ramiz was cool and on the dime,,,
I liked sanjay and ramiz. Aamir was so so, shastri was good.
Arun LOL if the most biased mofo. Are you guys forgetting the instance when Sami did get Gumby LBW? Arun and Ramiz were going over the snick o meter and it registered only ONE sound, and it can clearly be seen in the video that the ball hit the pad. If it had hit the bat there would have been TWO sounds but there was no other sound.
And guess what Arun Lal says? He says maybe the ball hit the bat and pad at the same time thats why theres only one sound, and the snick o meter isnt good enough to spot the time difference! LOL WTF. And then Rameez follows suit with one of his amazing comebacks to arun lal.. "So what are you saying Arun this technology isn't good enough?" LOL man i love ramiz's commentary
Is it just me or Aamir Sohail has become a better commentator now when he doesnt have to hide his selectorial frustration with contradicting statements?? He was spot on. I liked one of his comments when Sami bowled a no ball and Sachin blocked it. He said that on any other day a no ball is nothing but makes batsman happy but today batsmen must be thinking that oh I have to face and survive another delievery. But yes he is biased sometimes
Ramiz is getting better and better with each day. His accentuated english and vast vocab is a plus (aitchison background does help eh?)
Sanjay Manjrekar is a good one. His only fault is that he sucks up to Sachin too often and never lets go any oppurtunity while Shastri is a proven commentator. :k:
i think rameez and ravi are good commentators... i love it when they reflect on their matches back in the day... did u guys hear the story ravi told about the holi occasion in 87 or something where javed was dipped into some swimming pool. that was a nice one!
but aamir bhai was the best when rameez said "the umpire cannot see behind the player's back", aamir responds: "But he has too, it's his job!" :D
The best was when Ravi said Inzi looks in the mood of a confirmed century may be a double one, and then he was playing on 180's and Ravi goes the way he is playing he might even go for a triple and while he was saying that, Arun goes.... STOP IT RAVI JUST STOP IT RITE HERE...... lolll man what a funnny guy...
Aamir has always been a good commentator. He provides some actual insight, unlike Mr. cliche Raja. I’m sick of hearing “The good thing about him is that he has a great temperament” . Arun Lal is an idiot. Did any of you guys hear him saying "The message must have been “let’s slice them” ". One could sense his extreme bias easily. In the same over, however, Sehwag got run out .
Oh he really said that, and i was thinking that i heard it wrong , how a person can comment like this on a WORLD WIDE TELECAST (not a door-darshan tv). After Sehwag’s runout Arun LOL kee aawaz suniee nahee dee kafi dair tak
I have to admit Ramiz was'nt doing a great job the other day either. He seemed a bit biased in our favour,,, though I didnt mind...
Do you guys notice how these desis use the most pained terms like...
"He is a cat on a hot tin roof"
or
"He really relishes that shot"
ahhahahah
When Tendulkar clearly nicked the ball in the first or second test and was not given out by the umpire, one of the commentators said, Its very hard for umpires to give out a batsman of Tendulkar's class. I wonder who that was?
