Ik begrijp niet veel Dutch en het schrijven is nauwelijks leesbaar. Maar ik zal proberen of misschien zal ik proberen om een vertaling te krijgen van de website kreeg ik deze brief.

I said above it in Duch and writing barely legible. Was looking for the translation on the net. Got it. The original letter posted above actually has two pages I think, dont have the second one. But have the full translation.

**Dear Theo, **

**Would you please find out if there is still a painting by Schotel in Brussels? **
**It was sent from here on commission May 6, 1870. Perhaps Uncle has already sent it back to Paris. **
**But if not, please have it returned here immediately. We have a chance of selling it, but it is urgent. Last summer I saw it at your gallery, so I think it may still be there. **
**Give my compliments to Uncle and Aunt, Mr. Schmidt and Eduard. **
