Artificial gold plated jewellery in GTA, Canada

Hi guys,

I was wondering if you ladies have suggestions for articial bridal jewellery in the GTA? So far I’ve found a lady named Sameera Maqbool who orders jewellery from India - her prices are reasonable and I have ordered a bridal set from her. Also, there’s a lady named Maira who orders pieces from Pakistan but she’s a little pricey. And then there’s Bombay Trendz in Heartland and they have a few pieces also.

Any other suggestions? I looked at the Romika jewellers website and didn’t really like much there. I’m looking for good quality gold plated sets. Thanks!

there is a store in malton that has nice jewellery..i think its called Libaas.

I'll probably have to get my jewls from Toronto as well, I just don't want those typical indian looking jewlery

Thanks Afshi - I'll look into that. Anyone been to Gerrard st. for any jewellery? Do they have any Pakistani style jewellery there?

Try looking at stuff from Saibah’s: Fine Collection of Costume Jewellery & Accessories… you’ll most likely find something there and within budget.

She has some very nice sets that I haven’t seen anywhere else… very reasonably priced too.

The folks at Oriental Costumes can order nice plated stuff at very reasonable rates for you.......custom orders.....just take them any pic that you like.

Plus they often have several sets on display in their shop in Mississauga.

I find that Oriental Costumes has the best quality when it comes to gold plated jewellery.

I’ve never bought anything from here - but they seem to have some nice stuff. Located in Mississauga, check out their page on FB: Facebook

There’s also “Deshi Besh” on FB, again I’ve never bought anything from there, but I know of them.

I second Sai Vachan! I was in a bit of a panic for my engagement as I received by dress a week before the event. I took my dress with me and went to Sai Vachan and matched my jewellery. Their stuff is truly exquisite…some of their bridal stuff was gorgeous!

Hey!
Try Precious collection by Maira (Facebook). I have seen her stuff it’s really good. All Pakistani style jewelry, very fine and neat with silver base and gold plated. If u show her a design she can get that made too. I got few pieces from her for everyday use… Every1 loved it and its so hard to tell if it all gold or not. The lady Maira is very nice tooo no attitude, very friendly. Hope it helps.
