'Zevar' at Gulf shopping center would probably give you the best quality and best designs in terms of gold plated jewelry. However, that particular shop is a bit pricey but the quality rocks! There are many other shops in the same line that can replicate any bridal design for you esp. 'Gehna'. The bridal sets can start from Rs. 50,000.
The imitation jewelery shop right in front of 'Lavish Shopping mall' has Indian styles esp. the Jodha Akbar collection. You can look there, too.

^yeah I've been there many times, but only bought a set of 4 karas/bangles once. I think they were around 2000 but don't remember. They were quite heavy to hold. One of the stones came out once and we took it to the store where he fixed it right away free of cost. They give a guarantee card.
HI...which store are u referring to here? I come from KHI and am also in need of artificial bangles/sets to go with my bridal wear. Plz give the location and rates. Also kindly mention if bargaining can be done and to wot extent.

Artificial jewelery seems to be quite in as gold prices have rocketed. I was always happy with buying artificial but I was forced into buying gold. I'm actually happy I was because I bought a few artificial sets and with just a bit of sweat etc the pieces turned silver/black. Highly disappointing seen as artificial is not exactly dirt cheap either.

so i just got back from karachi, and the best store i found which had great quality and excellent finishing was Zevar in Gulf, I couldn't believe it was artificial!
they charge more than other stores but their quality is unbelievable, they will copy any design for you from a magazine!
i also visited Gehna in Gulf but their quality was not as good as Zevars though their prices are less.. I would give Gehna a 7/10 if Zevar is a 10! I just thought Gehna's gold looked too yellowy!

Ive bought a couple of stuff from Zevar but now hes becoming super expensive! They have beautiful jewelery though:)
