Art on Wheels

:salam2:

Colours is the main subject marking “Art on Wheels”. Walking around in those workshops one may watch men of all ages from old ones to young boys painting: the latter doing the simple parts, the former doing the real art, everybody doing their work as perfectly as possible.

Colour also abounds even in the most simplest of toys made of clay, which are painted in lovely colours being sold at the side of the road. Carving, inaly and mirror-work in furniture sight and the same designs often used in embroidery on fine dresses, cushions, shawls and carpets.

Everybody is proud and enjoys showing colour - so why not the vechicles?

You are welcome in this thread to share arts on wheels.

Re: Art on Wheels

Decorations are done not only on trucks and buses but on all kinds of vechicles moving on the roads in the cities and throughout the country. Tankers with the much needed water or fuel have the warning “danger” or “highly inflammable” written in artistic letters. Mini-buses shining in the dust and blue smoke between the heavy traffic and hustle-bustle of the big cities, with people clinging to the bus and on top of it.
