Hi Guppies

Im leaving for Pakistan next week and want to buy some paintings and calligraphy pictures.

Can any guppie give some recomendations for some places to visit in Islamabad or Lahore.

The famous Art galleries in Lahore are Al-Hamra Art Gallery, Anna Molka Art Gallery at Upper Mall

There's one right next to the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, though I am not sure what the state of the affairs are right now.

i have bought a few pieces from ‘hamail art gallery’ in defence lhr. they have a very nice selection, expensive though. you can ask to be shown work of newer artists, very impressive, and they will bargain on them too. heres an online link for them:
