KB… I don’t have studio style art supplies, I got a pack of brushes with had like 10-12 different types of brushes and yes buy metal ones, don’t buy plastic stuff. For paint, I basically have acrylic in all the primary colors, neutral colors, and metalics. I make my other colors by mixing them. I use liquid bottles but tubes are better or that is what I have heard. If you want to get watercolor, acrylic, oil, temperas, etc… I would say go with the basic colors and then make your colors by mixing them. If you are going to use oil paints then I guess there is some special thinner liquid, make sure you get that because other oils might spread on certain cavases.Don’t buy too much stuff at once, like afaaf said, start with the medium you are most comfortable with and then add. Get your other basic stationary (pencils, erasers, rulers/scales, maybe a protector set and other basic stuff like that).
Oh and last but not least, share your experimentation over here. ![]()
