art is the execution of [your] expression.

in this process your unconscious is gets connected to empty planar (paper), and turns into a conscious which we call an art piece.

art piece is actually a signification of artist's presence.

.....and we as a human do get Violent!

But one shouldn't hurt anyone or even themselves for the sake of art and freedom of expressions.
