Before I watched the show I was a bit disappointed with the lead. I used to watch Smallville and was a huge fan of Justin Hartley who played Oliver Queen in the show and really wanted him to play Oliver Queen in Arrow............but the lead grows on you quick! :D He is good.

Justin Hartley is already committed to show "Emily Owens, MD" as a lead...Even though prior to that CW had a spin-off as Aqua man but i guess it wasnt picked up.
as for Arrow Stephen, Amell was the first person to come for casting and was hired for the role (watch their comic con presentation)...and yes u r right he grows on you.

Arrow is not that bad, even Hartley approves of it! as far as Emily Owens M.D is concerned - it slowly grows on you:)

This is a really good and promising show. Somehow it has uncanny resemblance with Batman trilogy but so far so good! :k:
