I think you and I know very well that chances of it being true and far bigger than this NOT being true.....true Jail for these uneducated idiots....who can well be an example / role model for millions of under privileged kids of country, but they chose to run after easy money
yaar I know what you're saying but I'm shocked that Butt with all his fancy beaconhouse education, etc would still do this. guys like Kamran, Asif, etc come from humble backgrounds and they might do it for money... just like the previous lot in the 90s did it. but even then Rameez Raja who was an educated guy wasn't involved... I'm just really surprised that Sally Butt didn't know better.
either way, this is too much... this time if proven, these guys HAVE to go to jail. we let match fixers stay in the team once... a second time would be way too much.

The fourth Test between England and Pakistan at Lord’s is at the centre of a police investigation into spot-fixing, after a 35-year-old man was arrested after allegedly being caught offering to bribe Pakistan’s bowlers to bowl no-balls on demand.
According to a report in The News of the World, Mazher Majeed accepted £150,000 to arrange a fix involving Pakistan’s new-ball bowlers, Mohammad Amir and Mohammad Asif, whom he allegedly asked to bowl no-balls at specific moments of the match. The paper also alleges that the team captain, Salman Butt, and the wicketkeeper, Kamran Akmal, are involved, along with three other unnamed cricketers.
Pakistan’s team manager Yawar Saeed confirmed to Sky News that the allegations were being investigated, and according to Sky Sports News, police turned up at the team hotel in Swiss Cottage at 7.30pm, shortly after the close of an eventful third day of the Lord’s Test, in which Pakistan were left on the brink of defeat after losing 14 wickets in the day.

Very disgusting act, full cash flow needs to be traced where the money is coming and where it is going. I think their assets need to be seized and then thrown in jail accompanied with lifetime ban on ANY cricketing activity even stadium entry.

as some one mentioned above uneducated kam zarf people made to believe they are the heroes .
they should be banned and now we know how England scored 400 runs when they were 49 for 5 and 100 for 7 . SAB CHOOR HAIN

I know....when the news came out...I remember the last name....so i quickly checked the other site and realized that this dude is brother of that agent guy.......
I am sad about amir, but an example has got to be made.......his talent should not be considered when deciding a punishment (If he is guilty)
