I was just thinking this morning. There is a possibility that This Mazhar guy thought of making some extra money by bragging about each and everything. (throwing ODIs, making this much money and bla) and he lured these players into thinking k few noballs here and there wont hurt anyone because it does not mean you are trying to lose a game. It means the game then can be looked in an isolation.

thats the best possible scenario in a very &hitty situation.

We must also be mindful of suspecting any innocent player who may have been named by a bragging bookie. (if thats the case)

7 players, 10 players.. who knows. so lets treat everyone innocent until proven guilty.

^^ The four named players are in for sure (Butt, Asif, Amir, Kamran). It's not clear who the other players are. It's not in the bookie's interest to name a player who isn't on the take, because sooner or later his clients will expect specific acts from the player and if that player isn't involved, then the promised results won't be delivered.

Butt Aamer Asif have evidence against them but we havent heard of any evidence against Kamran.

And Mazhar guy may have bragged initially to get the money. and same could have prompted scotland yard to ask for these players' passports. who knows!
