Scotland Yard cannot hold anyone for more than 24 hours without a conviction. Mazhar Majeed most likely did not admit his guilt and wanted a lawyer and was therefore released. It doesn’t mean he’s off the hook

Was there still some evidence required even after getting the tape and all the other reports ?
