We did brother we did forget and left the tribals to their own devices for the last 60 years. For all these years they could run the arms bazars (Darras) and smuggling bazars (bara), and they could kidnap and collect ransom, and terrorize their fellow tribals and Pak-citizens.
Had we allowed and helped them to be civilized they would have had their own police, their multi-level modern court system, modern infrastructure, multi level government system etc. they would have been much much better when it comes to law and order situation. And our Air Force and army would not be bombing their homes. Sadly!
Right now they are being treated like those pathetic poor citizens across our Pak-Af border.
Don't you feel bad that these human beings are treated like animals under the draconian abominable system called FCR.
Have you got no heart to feel their pain and their subhuman treatment in the hands of these big-name Pashtun Maliks also called Political Agents.
Down with the FCR and other tribal regulations.
Down with the laws that keep the tribals under the yoke of barbaric tribalism.
Time to end the abominable FCR.
Time to make FATA into full province with the same laws of the land that others are living under.

the tribals ae no different to anyone else in the country - the only difference is they have a different way of breaking laws.
you talk as if the tribals r islamists are the only problem in pakistan. prior to the 1990's they did not really exist but the problems pakistan as a country has faced has always existed ie poverty, corruption, lack of accountability, misuse of public funds.

I m thinking in a tribal's eye what will be the difference between pakistan and previous british. The present treatment of tribals is even worse then colonial british. First was gora angraiz and now is kala angraiz.
