A few of my cousins would meet their potentials in restaurants and have their relatives or whoever sit right the other side by the door or something so they couldn’t hear what was being said but at the same time they could see nothing funny was going on..I don’t think that’s so bad..
Agree it’s not really necessary in a public place anyway but some families are still a bit strict about that stuff (bit weird considering their kids have plenty of opportunity to mix with and do whatever they like at uni etc)..
