I know many couples who have met 5-6 times before marriage at either girl’s place or at guy’s place. They were at home but alone. After initial personal meetings its easy to carry a phone conversation.
I would even say that meet at some restaurant for quick lunch if both families are ready to facilitate that and know exactly what are you guys upto. As long as you are meeting for the purpose of finding out compatibility, I dont see any problem in it but this can not go on and on. As I said, 2/3 personal meetings and supplementary phone conversations are enough to feel the water.
