They are not with you all the time, my uncle is in army and 2 years he was posted at Siachin and places like that,,, very risky husbands i must say;)

My khaloo was in the army. He had a loud way of speaking that would intimidate people even when he was just trying make conversation and lighten the mood. He had a sense of humor...would poke good fun at others with the purpose to entertain...he was pretty funny. Not sure if he was a stern parent but he had a stern bearing...or imposing presence you could say...that would make others nervous and I think (just guessing bere) that he was inwardly amused by the reaction. The funny thing is that my khala...who is a petite, teeny-tiny bit of a woman with a quiet manner....is said to have had greater control/ "robe" in the marriage, LOL.

Anyhow, like others have said, hard to answer the question as it'll vary based on exp.

My friend is an army officer. Very quite, helpful, and he is also quite stern. I've known him for years so I know he's super nice but he comes across as unapproachable to many people.
To answer your qs, not all army officers are the same. They may have different roles, different postings, different personalities so it's really difficult to give one answer.

Yes Army Officers can make great husbands...just like chefs, zoo-keepers, post-mans, accountants, teachers etc can.

After all Army Officers are like the rest of us...human beings! Lol.

Like Iyla said you can't judge a person by his profession alone.

I have a lot of family members in the Pak Armed Forces. Some of them seem to be excellent husbands, others not so much. Pretty consistent with the rest of the population.

army has nothing to do wth wth this :smack:, being from army family myself I always wanted to mary army officier:p because I love army life :blush:, my uncles, father, cousns ,fil, bil everyone are in army except from my dear huby :mad:
