A man went to see his childhood friend, now a commander in Army, after 20 years.
Commander was very pleased to meet his civilian friend after a lifelong gap. He wanted to impress his friend by his position in army, so he invited him to the garrison the next day.
The civilian friend was very impressed by the status and respect commander received from his troupe persons.
The civilian friend said," The discipline is marvellous, your respect and salutation to you is praiseworthy but the only thing your army lacks is the democracy and freedom of speech."
“** Who says there is no democracy and no freedom of speech? Even in worst times our troupes are allowed to speak**.” Commander told. But viewing the facial expression of his civilian friend, commander thought that he friend was not impressed, so he wanted to present a sample of freedom of speech.
For this he ordered all his men to sit in rows before him. He started speaking
," My Jawano!! You all are ordered to be executed today after one hour. Every Jawan Will be hanged till death. Any question?"
There was total stillness all around but a single hand was raised.
The commandered looked at his friend and said**," My friend, you were saying that we lack freedom of speech, see !! that man has raised his hand to ask a question."**
He then enthusiastically motivated the man to ask the question**," Yes, yes…ask what you want to ask ?"**
The man asked**," Huzoor ! Kya rassi sath lani hai ?"**
