Armless sofa slipcover

Can’t find one anywhere (except for Ikea’s uniquely shaped items).

We have a sofa I need to cover cuz it’s a light color and about to be the TV room’s main seat. I can’t seem to find slipcovers for armless sofas anywhere, which I find kind of odd as they should be simpler to do.

Any suggestions? Do I need to make it myself?

btw easiest and most to your liking results will be to go and get fabric you like, and have some lady who does silai on the side whip something up for you. Unless you have mad skillz

Re: Armless sofa slipcover

I don't have mad skillz, alas. My mom does, but she's a busy lady. Don't want to ask her.

I saw those sites, just not sure how legit there are. And it's not cheap.

Re: Armless sofa slipcover

the first one is BBB rated so fairly legit.
still think any local ladies who sew on the side will do it because its much easier than making qameez etc.

Re: Armless sofa slipcover

I just saw a nice one in walmart...good microfiber washable fabric in many colors.

Re: Armless sofa slipcover

I don't see any armless ones on their website. I do see futon covers and they look like they would work, but the descriptions make them seem like they won't because they fit the mattress all the way around.

Re: Armless sofa slipcover

I'm tempted to get a fabric stapler and do it myself. It looked so easy on Trading Spaces. :@:

Re: Armless sofa slipcover

It's actually quite easy. Do it I say!

Re: Armless sofa slipcover

But I guess then I can’t just take it off easily to wash, like a slipcover. Or can I? :hmmm:

Re: Armless sofa slipcover

dont do the staple thingy … coz it will be a hassle taking it off for a wash every other week …

I would get a fabric of my choice , do a quick stitch and create one … coz it think you dont really need an aweful lot of stitching on it , just the sides … which is easy to do … :hmmm:
