Times of india is more like a laughing stock now. Look at the coverage from day one and you will say, "if wishes were horses!"
Just to put in perspective, indian and Pak conventional military balance is like 3-1 or something like that? (not to mention the BAD BOY)
USA and Israel with all its military might couldn't attack Iran where the balance of power is like....?

Agreed. India have enough technical capabilities for deep strikes in Pakistan territory, but ever wonder about the response? The response will be so hard that your so called mighty army will be shattered in pieces, we proved it and we are willing to do it again.

the bravado shown by some of these Pakistani supporters here is quite funny. fortunately their govt this time seems to have understood the threat and complying with the sanctions.
But the presssure needs to be kept up because Pakistan is famous for doing just enough to stay out of more trouble as long as they are watched; the moment you take you eyes of them, they're back to the business as usual and all the jihadi camps come back up to start training tthe terrorists again

This is empty rhetoric on both sides. I don't think there are going to be any surgical strikes. The present govt. in India lacks the political will or strength to take such a decision.

It was a different govt in 2002. This present govt lacks the guts to take any strong steps.
It was the previous govt. that learned the meaning of MAD the hard way. This is when BJP was in power.

The difference between the two governments is that BJP can back rhetoric with 'some' action. And I say 'some' because they did not go any further than just amassing troops at the border. Congress, on the other hand is just empty words.
And yes, I do agree with your MAD theory....
