so i left my phone charger plugged in at work, and forgot to take it home.
today when i am back in office, it’s GONE. 
give me ideas how to prevent this from happening in futurre. leave a naked/live wire hanging?

Oh I see you made a grave mistake but it can happen sometimes. Why dont you set your watch with an alarm five mintues before work shift finished? I have a Casio Pathfinder and spare Timex military watch… they are relatively inexpensive and have a silent alarm function as well other usefull features.
Failing that you could always charge your home the night before and remind yourself of that by setting house alarms 
Have you tried asking round in case anyones picked it up, if your lucky your manages or the cleaners put it aside somewhere… 
Failing that my friend you can always turn to a last resort and read Ina-lillah… no joke I did that once when I lost something valuable and was saying thoubah thoubah when the same thing crashed down and smacked me full on the head. 
Anyway on the bright side my boy you wont make the same error next time will you, so you learned something. 
I wish I could send you something to make up the loss.

By the way the idea of leaving a naked live wire hanging is very bad idea… you will come to office next morning to find that somebody has rigged up a small disco room in your erstwhile office and is having a rave. 
Or your boss will fire you for overheating and causing a fire hazard… forget the live wire leave a TN365100 series motion sensor activated incapacitance devise… basically any two legged predators while try and nab your phone and then they will be incapicitated by the after effects that replicate a medium power stun gun… however the negative side effect of this is that it can induce violent shock and lead to vommiting and diahorea therfore not a great idea either… Maybe invest in a guard parrot.
