Well I have always supported Brazil and Argentina in football.
Both these countries play attractive flowing football unlike the boring Europeans esp. England

First Argentina has to defeat Germany and then they have to defeat most likely Spain to get to the finals.
Brazil's path is a little easier with Chile and then most likely they have to face Netherlands and then most likely Uruguay to get into the finals.
Germany and Spain and Netherlands are formidable teams.
Don't know why but I don't think a South American team will win this time. Their time will come in 2014 in Brazil.
I think its either going to be Germany, Spain or Netherlands to win the World Cup.
I am predicting Germany will defeat Argentina and Netherlands will take out Brazil.

Argentina are fearsome in attack (unlike England) and while their defence may not be as solid as Germany's, they are unlikely to give the Germans so many easy opportunities to score on the counterattack. That was just shambolic, almost non-existent defending from England. They were tactically short against Germany and showed no cunning or trickery.
Let's not judge Germany by their performance against 'minnows' England. Argentina are a far more formidable and disciplined team than England
And this is what I w'd also like to know - what justifies the hype that surrounds england?

Yet Argentina will not make it because there side of the bracket is very tough, even though i hate BRAZIL i think they have a very easy trip to finals, they will beat Chile, will beat Nlands in QF, will beat the winner of Uraguy and Ghana in SF also, so darn BRAZIL i hate you.

I think Argentina's toughest match is the QF. Both Argentina and Germany are much better than Spain/Portugal (Portugal can beat Spain) IMO whom they will most likely meet in the SF. So the winner of Argentina v Germany game next Saturday should beat Portugal/Spain or even Paraguay (do not discount them. Paraguay will beat Japan and might even go on to beat Spain/Portugal) and reach the final
Brazil's path to the final is comparatively easier. They meet Holland in the QF. If Brazil beat Holland, they will meet the winner of the QF between Uruguay and Ghana in SF. So Brazil just has to beat Holland and they are thru.
In summary:
2nd July
- QF Brazil v Holland
- QF Ghana v Uruguay
3rd July
- QF Germany v Argentina
- Other QF yet to be decided tomorrow i.e. winner of Spain v Portugal V winner of Paraguay v Japan. I reckon Portugal will beat Spain and Paraguay will beat Japan
So here we are faced with a situation where the QF games for both Brazil and Argentina are tougher than the semis. Brazil should beat Holland and Argentina I am sure will treat the game against Germany as THE final
