i use a specialized email service and when I send an email to it, it automatically updates my blogs (yeah i have more than 1), facebook and twitter all at once. really cool shiznit

don't really see the point in telling the world what I'm doing at various moments in time. I think there's some value in it for people who're out and about on field assignments and such and can constantly send updates to their "followers". Media personnel are good examples - since they often have ardent fan followings who want to know what the person is working on.
I've also heard from people that they use it to follow the leaders in their line of work / professional interest. I guess there can be some value in that... but for me personally, when I tried it briefly... it was more of a noisy distraction and I didn't need one more to disturb the clutter of other social media apps that I use.
