** A lioness in Kenya is mourning the death of a baby antelope she had protected for two weeks.**
The oryx was killed by a male lion as she slept.
Wildlife guides had said they were baffled by the lioness’s behavior.
“This is either ** an extraordinary case of maternal instinct or simply the
eighth wonder of the world,”** said Herman Mwasaghua, a safari guide at a park
lodge. “It’s incredible.”** The oryx’s mother abandoned it shortly after its birth and the lioness began
shielding it from other predators, even going so far as to stand down a
leopard, ** guides told the Daily Nation newspaper.Amazed safari guides said over the past two weeks they observed the lioness
allowing the oryx’s mother to join the calf for nursing, then resuming her
guardianship.** Sometimes the two animals were seen lying together on the savannah. **
Then on Sunday, a male lion attacked and killed the oryx while the lioness
slept.According to guides, ** the lioness roared in mourning for hours after
discovering the calf had been killed. **The oryx is a herbivore with black and white markings on its face with long,
straight horns at adulthood, but at birth has no horns and is a tawny brown
colour.

Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmathullahi wa Barakaathuhu to Muslims and Greetings of peace to one and all to non-Muslims.
Dear Brothers and Sisters,
Reading the above news, one has to conclude , even amongst animals who have been naturally inclined to kill the weaker there can be ** compassion, sincerity and love for others.**
Yet, in this generation, mankind seem to be losing such conduct for which he has been given authority over the rest of the animals
** Endless amounts of questions and rebellious and sacrilegious remarks have been noted on this forum , made by people who claim they are Muslims ( be it true or false) with varying views as to what Islam is or is not according to their minds.**
Muslims must bear in mind
Allah (swt) conveyed:-
48: 29 Muhammad is the Apostle of Allah; ** and those who are with him are strong against Unbelievers (but) compassionate amongst each other. ** Thou wilt see them bow and prostrate themselves (in prayer) ** seeking Grace from Allah and (His) Good Pleasure. ** On their faces are their marks (being) the traces of their prostration. This is their similitude in the Torah; and their similitude in the Gospel is: like a seed which sends forth its blade then makes it strong; it then becomes thick and it stands on its own stem (filling) the sowers with wonder and delight. ** As a result it fills the Unbelievers with rage at him. Allah has promised those among them who believe and do righteous deeds Forgiveness and a great Reward. **
Ibrahim says: Needless to say, all those who have understood Islam and practice it to their best of their abilities will have little problem understanding what has been conveyed . But for those who cannot understand what it means is that ** the devotees of Allah wage unceasing war against evil, for themselves, and for others; but to their own brethren in faith-especially the weaker ones- they are mild and compassionate: they seek out every opportunity to sympathize with them and help them. **
Their humility is before Allah and His Apostle and all who have authority from Allah, but they yield no power or pomp, nor do they worship worldly show or glitter. Nor is their humility before Allah a mere show for men.
Unfortunately this is in the decline amongst Muslims in our current generation, here people are vying to challenge, dispute, defame each other, simply because it has to do with their pride , plighted word or mere show of debate and eloquence in speech.
Allah (swt) conveyed:
3: 77 ** As for those who sell the faith they owe to Allah and their own plighted word for a small price they shall have no portion in the hereafter: nor will Allah (deign to) speak to them or look at them on the Day of Judgment nor will He cleanse them (of sin); they shall have a grievous penalty. **
Ibrahim says: How does one sell their faith and what does one mean by their own plighted word?
All our duties to our fellow creatures are referred to the service and faith we owe to Allah. But in the matter of truth, an appeal is made to our self-respect as responsible beings: ** is it becoming that we should be false to our own word, to ourselves?** And then ** we are reminded that the utmost we can gain by falsifying Allah’s word or being untrue to ourselves is but a miserable price. We get at best something very paltry as the price for selling our very souls. **
Even on sinners-ordinary sinners-Allah will look with compassion and mercy: He will speak words of kindness and cleanse them of their sins. ** But those who are in active rebellion against Allah and sin against their own light,-what mercy can they expect? **
Thus the very thought of rebellion or rejection of what is being written in the Qur’an can only lead mankind to ruin immaterial of their faith in Islam.
Allah (swt) further conveyed;
50: 16 It was We who created man and ** We know what dark suggestions his soul makes to him:** for We are nearer to him than (his) jugular vein.
17 Behold two (guardian angels) ** appointed to learn (his doings) learn (and note them) ** one sitting on the right and one on the left.
18 ** Not a word does he utter but there is a sentinel by him ready (to note it). **
Ibrahim says: Al-hamdulillah, we have our own “sentinel” and “modamarator” on this board

to delete and remove what is not within the bounds of Islamic wisdom.
** Yet O mankind ! , O brethren ! beware, not a word that you harbored in your heart nor a word that we may have said at some time or another, will get misplaced or deleted or forgotten in the sight of Allah (swt) **
** So practice sincerity , it is the key to understanding what is being revealed by our Creator and what is being conveyed in hadiths and by scholars which is not always clear to the readers. **
Allah (swt) conveyed:
35: 28 ** And so amongst men and crawling creatures and cattle are they of various colors. Those truly fear Allah among His Servants who have knowledge:** for Allah is Exalted in Might Oft-Forgiving.
So it goes without saying, those who fear Allah (swt) and practice sincerity of words and deeds are those will be given knowledge to understand matters that are not commonly understood, the rest due to their insincerity may end up having doubts upon doubts with no end in sight. As Allah (swt) had so willed for them.
As for Christians and Hindus who may be wondering what is all this , what is being conveyed is better understood by reading
Christ was taught to convey :-
Let us read Matthew 12:
-
But I tell you that ** men will have to give account on the day of judgment for every careless word they have spoken. **
-
** For by your words you will be acquitted, and by your words you will be condemned." **
and Prophet Solomon (pbuh) taught:-
Proverbs 15: 33. ** The fear of the LORD teaches a man wisdom, and humility comes before honor. **
