Are you celebrating EID? I am not celebrating it. Because of that sad event which took place here in Pakistan. Let spend our day of EID in praying for the survivors. Yes for the survivors as they need more prayers than the dead. But we should also pray for the dead like May Allah award them the Jannah.

Ahh, I lost my friend due to that quake…:crying:. I miss her a lot…:frowning: very much…:(…Kisay da yaar na bichhray…:frowning:

I have money but I am not going to spend it on Eid's shopping. Think about those who are affected and lost their house. How they spend nights in cold.........:(

well, i will be celebrating eid, but not the way i usually spend it...its gonna be a little different ones...Hope ill get some money so i can donate a little more to the quake victims.

I donated what ever i could for the victims ... Even my blood..
You know when i was donating blood in this park
The doc's took 1 litre but the mosquitoes drank almost 2
I fel so dizzy :p

Yes MyWish, BF and DM. You know I didnot realize when the last ashra arrived. I was in shock due to those quakes. Still in shock and cant make myself to celebrate Eid…:frowning:

I didnot celebrate Eid when America attacked Afghanistan…:frowning: I donated my stuff to immigrants…sigh. It make me really sad when people die…:crying:

FrozenFire, hmmm how do you celebrate your Eids? It will be interesting to hear how non muslims celebrate Eids.

:-|…Eid is a Muslim Tehwaar granted by Allah as when people of Madina asked for a festival. They celebrated a few festival before arrival of Islam. But then Allah forbid us to have resemblence with non muslims so Prophet asked about that issue. In response Allah granted us two Eids. Eid-ul-Fitr and Eid-ul-Azha. Eid-ul-Fitr is for after Ramadan, we keep fast during this month and pay Fitr on Eid. On Eid-ulAzha we repeat the sunnah of Sayyedna Ibraheem :as:…Yes we add so many colorful activities also to make this day as pleasent as we could. But it doesnot mean that Eid means colorful activities only…I think non muslims take it as colorful acitivity day…:snooty:
