nyc - ambiance, radiance, exuberance is all there. the run of the mill businnesses, the expensive stores and the coffee shops or out door cafes everywhere. excellent educational institutes, university systems & parks. city walk ways & bridges, FDR, tunnels, Park Ave & Broadway are the veins through which the city’s blood - its traffic flows or at times gets clotted. diverse, is nyc! all kinds of people, from all back grounds. police on the subway or the rail road is all good. 8th Ave bus station on Port Authority is a haven for tourists and those wanting to get connecting buses or get transport to the one and only JFK airport - all accessible if you know where you are going and how to time yourself. city buses, taxis are friendly, when you are friendly. vending machines, atms, flower shops, banks, food carts, are all handy when you need them. writers’ and performing arts are all in abundance, though you need to know what taste you have and where to go to match it, canal Street shopping savings are not to be missed. among all kinds of buildings, museums, art galleries, NYPL, churches, mosques, synagogues, temples, tall sky scrapers, housing residential buildings, will crop on streets like mushrooms. city buildings when washed in rain or covered with snow, welcome you with all their majestic look. one thing to note when driving around the city - finding a gasoline station is not easy. you must learn back wards, which way the streets and the avenues go! & then it is all sport.
sometimes, you just do nothing in the city, but just walk it, you will be amazed how much you would
learn.
