Obviously you’re implying something when you asked him that question. You didn’t do it once, but it’s happened numerous times. If you wanted to ask him an innocent question, you should asked : “where are you from?”. You didnt.

Why do you insist on asking him is he’s specifically Bengali? WHY didnt you ask him if he’s American? Or Persian? Of course you wouldnt ask him if he was Arab. You love Arabs. But again, why did you ask if he was Bengali. Do you have something against them? It seems to a lot of people that you look down upon Bengalis. IThat you’d get some ammunition if he confessed to being Bengali.
