Am I the only one who find it hard to let go old stuff? Old shirts, tools, books etc. A long list. I always get a 1000 ideas of “possible” usage of different things just when I’m about to throw it and hence ends up with not doing it.
Nope. I'm a hoarder, too. I easily develop sentimental attachment to things. I still have clothes from when I was 15-16-17 years old...and refuse to give them away.
I don't have a problem getting rid of stuff. My problem is organizing the stuff I do have. When I can't find something that I know I have, I go out and buy a replacement. It's a never ending cycle! Thus, my place defines hoarding. I am so ready for spring cleaning. God knows how many of each I have.

I guess my thinking is why get rid of it if it is not broken? Maybe we just have a value for money.
If we are still with GS after these many years (12 yrs in my case) then we definitely have a issue in letting go :)
I am not a hoarder at all, I throw away stuff mercilessly. I don't think I ever keep anything a few years old. I once threw away a pile of 'old documents' that contained my active passport, lol.
Definitely hoarder! I am either sentimental about things and keep them or I think of potential other uses.....or even that I can leave it and give away to someone at some point. I think it's a generational thing even?
I always end up developing a strong emotional connection with different things... I still have my school batches, college cards e.t.c. Really want to get out of this hoarding habit.
No! You’re in good company with me. :k: I am ruthless when it comes to purging items. I find the more I have the harder it is for me to keep my home clear so I regularly sort and ask myself if I truly need a particular thing.
