Avenger = You will do the same what the one did to you

Avenger as in...The Vision, wonder man, ant man, iron man, thor, captain america, hawkeye, or as in john steed, dr keel, cathy gale and emma peel etc?

My view is first avenge, then forgive.

see its not tit for tat..
if someone slaps ou, you dont offer them your other cheeck.

This is what you do..

you slap em back to bring equilibrium into the equation
you slap em again so they can feel how it is to be on the wrong end when equilibrium is forcefully impacted
you then slap em again as a reminder

then you forgive em for slapping you, and move on.

Is Wanting God to take ur revenge coz u can't take one forgiving?
i'm mostly a forgiver however there r few ppl i'm not gonna forgive n want God to take my revenge.

Mostly a forgiver id rather not hold a grudge or wnat revenge its not good for your health or well being, thats wht i believe anyway

:hmmm: How does it make you a Forgiver if you are hoping that God will teach him/her a lesson (carry out your revenge) instead of you having to do it ?

A bit of both. I will let things slide.....but I don't forget. I might forgive....but I don't forget. You won't learn anything if you decide to forget things.

As far as revenge is concerned.....I don't harm people. I don't do the same to them as they did to me because I don't want to stoop to their level. BUT when I've had enough....I will sometimes talk to the person calmly about their persistent and thoughtless transgressions and put them in their place. And it actually works, sometimes (if the person has a conscience). If I'm dealing with someone who is absurdly arrogant and incapable of change....I will avoid them and pray that Allah will teach them a lesson.

a lesson is not always revenge, a lesson can just be realization of one’s wrongdoings..

See, you cannot ask Allah to take revenge for you. You can ask for sabar. Don't even ask Allah to do justice because you don't know what may be justice in your eyes and what is justice in HIS eyes. So all you try real hard to be patient.

Now, revenge is an interesting concept. You have to know how to convert it to a lesson.
