hi Allah surooo.. woh kiya hai na.. an educated woman can give birth to an educated nation so even if she doesn't plan to work, dun say thatt she has wasted whatever she gained from her education.. if a mom won't have donecollege, how would you expect a kid to learn and explore unless and until the kid happens to be really smart. Trust me, i have seen kids going astray just because their moms were not educated and dads were either making money by working abroad or just spending a lot of time outside the house to make both ends meet!

I believe education is a MUST for any grl, but she doesn't have to work afterall, you need education for raising kids as well as to establish a wonderful home!

I think a lot has to do w/ what laizy said - it looks good on their marriage certificate - a guy can proudly say I married a doctor or an engineer but who of course cannot work after marriage cuz she has to take care of my parents and eventually kids :p

gtg, i am not against women's education ofcourse. i am talking about professional education like medicine , engineering, law etc where there is a lot of competition to get into. if a girl knows for sure that she will work after she is done, then thats great. but if she is going to stay home, she is better off learning arts n other subjects and not waste the seat for the person who really needs it.
