Lol..if you’re referring to women on the dating apps, they for sure doo…with the dating apps people are more picky (guys as well as girls). So girls “generally” want guys that are tall, older than them and have a decent job. of course you’ll find exceptions to the rule but for the most part they’ll connect with you if your good looking, but they’ll stick around if you can offer them what they desire. Same thing for guys, they want girls who are generally younger. So I guess its a win win..for both sides. But its more of an issue with the medium of dating apps, if you were to ask a girl out that you know in “real life” I don’t think you would have much of a problem. And its not so much of an issue with desi cultures..its an issue with all cultures…

And this is another problem..women who are older don’t have time for “dating” they want commitment..if you can’t provide that to them right off the bat they don’t want to waste their time.

He’d have to really have his life together for me to consider a large age gap… but things get a little different in your 30’s and the things that seemed important in your 20’s don’t matter as much in lieu of other things. A significant age gap would give me pause in either direction but I’d look at the situation/ guy in it’s/ his entirety. The younger you are the more apparent age gaps become… things level off at a certain point and that point tends to be mid to late thirties on average… but of course there are exceptions to every rule.

Acquaintance of mine, a couple where the guy is 10 years younger than his wife, she looks like his mother and he acts like he’s still in middle school(I always get reminded of the way boys acted in middle school), very immature. I don’t know them well but they’re still married and making it work.
I’ve gotten the impression that he feels he’s a better person because of her. Now that’s pretty sweet and being around her, I would have to agree, she is one of the nicest, most genuine people I’ve met.
I personally would not feel comfortable with a guy younger than me just because I fear looking like mummyji around him.
