Probably not. Personally I want someone who’s mature and has their life together or has a strong plan and is working their way towards it.

Besides, won’t the guys parents be a little awkwarded out that the potential DIL is older than their son? Maybe times are changing and desi communities are becoming more progressive…not sure

But how is a guy a year or two younger than a girl not working towards a goal or something? Not everybody is at the same stage in life at the same age, there many older guys who haven’t finished school and then there are guys in their early 20s that have degrees, a job, or are going onto grad school.
