But how is a guy a year or two younger than a girl not working towards a goal or something? Not everybody is at the same stage in life at the same age, there many older guys who haven’t finished school and then there are guys in their early 20s that have degrees, a job, or are going onto grad school.

lol, thirdstring you asked for my personal preference so I’m giving it to you! I’m in my twenties so someone a decade younger than me would be like pre-teen/teenager. Maybe if I was 30 I would consider a 25 year old. But when you’re a girl in your twenties you most likely want someone your age or a little older.

If there was a genuine guy that was 1-2 years younger than me and ticked all the right boxes and we got along well, sure, I’d consider him.
