For those of you in the UK you are likely to be aware of the Benefit system shake up which means that in theory it will pay to work in the UK rather than sitting around on your backside and claiming money instead.
On Friday in the West Midlands Naima Vakar (47) was let off extremely lightly for committing Benefit Fraud of just over £23,000. She was working for 7 years as well as claiming benefits too.
When she was interviewed she claimed the wages coming into her account that of her sons. She later admitted that they were hers however she was still painted as a victim of a language barrier who was given advice by ladies in her own community to commit such a fraud.

The person committing the fraud is apparently house bound, and doesn’t speak much english.
Wouldn’t this beg the question of why you wouldn’t learn a language you need for daily life?
I wouldn’t go live in France without learning the language. And I certainly wouldn’t even consider a move to Pakistan without understanding the Law and having clear Urdu skills.
There’s an uproar in the area this woman lives as it’s quite a poor area with a lot of EDL/BNP supporters. Such stories and weird ways of justice are fuelling the extremists in the area. Shocking really.
So do you think her sentance (100 hours community service, £100.00 fee and paying back the money little by little) fits the crime? The above wouldn’t put me off-and that’s the truth.
