Zaavia, yes, there have been allied casualties, but you should realize that alot of lives can be saved if Saddam just gives himself up… The US is the tyrant agressor in this war, and with its combined military might it can take out Iraq easily…
Spock, that would have set a precedence, where Americans would want any ruler to resign if they dont like him. Who is the Us to decide, who should rule a certain country or not?

What has Iraq got to defend itself? NOTHING... Reminds me of the people in 1991 who actually believed Iraq was going to win the war. At the expense of a few hundred soldiers, half the country has already been thrashed... Then again, you probably said the same thing about the talibz giving a whooping to the Americans ;)

wow media power is an awesome thing, right!,,, If 1000 pretty boys hiding behind NA can win hands down then imagine what 550,000 rambos in vietnam must have done.... Without any trace of Mullah and Osama and red, pink, yellow, orange alerts every other day must be the vistory that should be in guiness book of records..... I can thow in quite a few more US victories if you want.....
4000 tons of heroin must be the gift of NA to US for tilting the balance in their favour ;)

Kion! bhai US ki kion phatti hey 4 footers say? Is there any historical event that gives Gi Joes nightmares :)
as i read the current world situation, pakistan is in no danger from america at leat until musharraf is in power. musharraf is a shrewd leader who can manipulate adversity to suit himself.
pakistan has no danger of war from india(which everyone anyway knows). a war with pakistan is not in india's interest. india has far more to lose than pakistan in case a war takes place. all the chest thumping and all is just for public consumption. at the same time, pakistan must realise that india will never let go kashmir (the part currently in its control). usa will also find dealing with north korea difficult because it has enough WMD to blast south korea. south korea is like north korea's insurance for survival. also china will not tolerate any us military presence so close to it. so either china will broker a deal between north korea and usa or else we may see the north korean leader die in some suspicious circumstances(assassinatton).
no external power can cause pakistan to collapse. that is only possible if internal conflicts in pakistan go over the top.

Fears have been raised in certain circles that PAkistan can be the next target of UnitedStates preemtive attack after Iraq. Are these fears well-founded? Are they baseless, ludicrous? Is there any grain of truth in that?
It is said that in the absence of any concrete evidence establishing Iraq's link with AL-Qaida, of bio-terrorism and WMD against it; THe US is bent upon working on its plan. Keeping that in context, would Pakistan be the next target of United States of America. Is it because of our, ' unofficial complicity and with the Taliban and Osama Bin Laden' that has given rise to this popular belief?

The next target will be America and Bush will do it for them. It will implode like the WTC. Yes, the US will put up India to do its dirty work, but like last time the Indians will back out because they know that there are cranky Jihadis here who will put their faith in Allah and and launch the 'bum'.

he is out of his mind. dont take him seriously. :)
pakistanis must preserve thier stingers and collect anti airkraft guns in abundance. build bunkers and maybe buy some anti missile jammers from somewhere
because they will need them at some time
I do not think that Pakistan will be the next American target . The primary reason for me thinking this way is the presence of Pakistani nukes which can/might be able to reach Israel . Also, the presence of mobile launchers will be a major hurdle in any US ( or anybody else's ) attempt to target the nukes . I say this because in the relatively smaller Iraq, where the allies had extensive air-superiority, and the reconnaisance 'density' was high, attempts to take out mobile Scud launchers have proved to be quite futile so far .
As long aspakistans enimity with india continues,u.s wont hit pakistan because any such action will only favour india and will make india enough capable to meet china in any situation.u.s policy has always been double standarded and they will never want india to emerge as a super power ,even when u.s is fighting against international terrorism.
moreover,an action against pakistanj will only invite more chinese attention i9n the region and that can adversly affect the equilibrium of the region.
there hasbeen a `truce' between india and china and india does feel pressure only from pakistan and a weak pakistan will result india gaining more momentum and vibrant energy in the region.
We should stop whining and take up the challenge
We have already been targets twice. The First time was when US was preparing to attack Afghanistan. The Second time was when India was set up to attack us last year. I shall write more about this [with credible evidence] in detail later.
It seems that pakistan is not very next target . At least there are three more countries line in next to pakistna.
Pakistan has nothing that US would want... Namely, our lack of oil:)
The only reason they pay attention to Pak is its geography, and because of the many fundos that infest our nation. And the way to control them is not for them to attack and occupy Pak, but to actually help Pakistan improve itself...
