Abu Hurayrah, may Allah be pleased with him quotes the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, as saying, “A woman is married for four things, i.e., her wealth, her family status, her beauty, and her religion. So you should marry the religious woman; (otherwise) you will be a loser.” (Reported by Al-Bukhari)

Yes.
Character and piety go a longway, they outlast beauty, wealth and "family status." So look at a woman's heart before you reject her because she's not rich enough or attractive enough. So a man who marries because of wealth or beauty and not because of her devotion to God is a loser. The person you spend your life with ought to motivate you to do better, to strenghten your imaan,a nd if the person you marry doesn't care for religion, well then you're in trouble :)
