There were a series of incidents where terrorists were acquitted by the courts to the dismay of the government agencies.
After Lal-masjid incident, many terrorists were apprehended along with their leader Maulana Abdul Aziz. Dozens of cases were against them but our great ‘free’ judiciary freed them and they are back to their ‘business’ Red mosque siege leader walks free to hero's welcome | Pakistan | The Guardian
Later Musharaf claimed that the people arrested and then freed were behind the wave of terrorism that erupted after lal masjid.
The only institution that can fight terrorism is army and intelligence agencies. Forget the kerey makorey politicians. But army is worried and rightly so about it being stretched to the limit that it can no longer be an effective force to defend the borders.
One of teh bggest reasons that army is not successful in curbing terrorism is americans. They do not provide the much needed equipment bcoz hindu banya starts crying tha it will be used gainst India. Second reason, the lack of control on Pak-Afghan border.

Excuses.
It is because of the Army/Agencies the country is in this mess to begin with.
The Army has deployed less than 50,000 soldiers against the Taliban.
Thay have over 400,000 more soldiers they could use against, they are not overstreched at all.
It is pathetic to say the Pak Army cannot beat the Taliban because they need to beg for equipment from America, especially after US has given Pak BILLIONS in military aid since 9/11.
If Pak Army cannot even win a war in their own country, they should stop trying to be politcians, and be real soldiers for once.
I agree that many Pakistanis do not want terrorism to be eliminated, because they see this violence a form of Islam, and they consider people doing it as mujahideen (naoozobillah).
Most Pakistanis, including judiciary, do not understand the severe consequences of their actions. I wonder what a judge who let go of such a person thinks about his decision. He probably thinks that he upheld justice by such an acquittal. But does he wonder if his acquittal my result in the death of tens of people later?!
If "free" courts result in increase of terrorism in country then I would rather have bounded courts.
As far as government goes, its focus is trying to save itself from the rogue "free" judiciary whose only aim seem to be to bring the government down.
So I would again put blame on the "free" courts.

I am sure these judges let terrorists occupy waziristan and swat in the first place.

Get of the army gravey train will u? We have this terrorism menace due to the army's screwed up policies. As someone has rightly pointed out, most of the army is still sitting on eastern borders. They keep up the threat of hindu baniyas so that they can keep sucking the blood of awaam.
Dude, do u think hindoo india is going to invade pakistan with all our problems? One thing the hindoo baniyas are not is stupid. They will use their baniya logic and calculate
i think its not as simplistic a thing as army is right or the courts are right. both the army and the courts seem to have very different agendas. the army seems to be sticking to its screwed up strategic depth strategy as far as part of the Taleban is concerned. Thus the arguably hands off approach in some parts of waziristan. The courts seem to have gone very much to the right, inexplicably. Especially LHC. The whole ban the internet phenomenon and the catch and release approach towards terrorists. Having said that, what can you do if the law enforcement agencies cant accumulate evidence? That might be because they capture these people in combat situations where evidence is hard to collect.
If that is the case then we need to devise legal solutions to this problem. Patriot act anyone?

If part of Taleban means few groups that are only fighting in Afghanistan, then i understand why it would not be army's priority to go after them.
Army's strategy and rightly so is to fight the groups that are a threat to Pakistan. Army does not have capabilty to wage moral wars, when Nato itself does not show any serious effort to confront Taleban in Afghanistan.
First of all, I doubt that you’re a paki. But even if you are what you pretend to be, how do you explain the smuggling of basic food items like wheat, flour, sugar, all kinds of lentils & most recently even the Pakistani bred of animals to india through afghanistan? Are you suggesting that those Indian baniyas are having all those basic food items produced on Pakistani soil smuggled to india because amreeka is asking them to so that American people can eat it & deprive Pakistani people of their own food? Give me a break!!!
I wanna see your face when you’ll be forced to take up a job of masseur of same indian baniya (incase, unfortunately, God forbid, they do fulfill their 6 decades old dream of take over Pakistan again) because no indian would give you a job for being an ex-pakistani or a muslim
It’s about time the Pakistani people & Pakistani government recognize the real munafiqs which indians are and no other nation in the world. their hypocrisy is much more dangerous for pakistani people because of being in the neighbourhood.

i disagree with the premise that these groups are not a threat to Pakistan. We used to say the same thing about groups that used to be active primarily in Kashmir and are active in Pakistan now (LJ for example, and even what is now under the umbrella of TTP). Furthermore it is the responsibility of the state to ensure that it is the only agent of force in the country. NO pakistani citizens should be living under Taliban rule. period.
As far as the question of prioritization goes, sure. Prioritize those who are most violent. But dont let the rest fester either.
wtf? do u even know that word paki is an insult in britan*?*
First of all, I doubt that you’re a paki. .
u mf, i think ur a hindoo baniya stooge, with all ur bs posting u make pakistani look like they r stupid!
how do you explain the smuggling of basic food items like wheat, flour, sugar, all kinds of lentils & most recently even the Pakistani bred of animals to india through afghanistan? Are you .
how the fk goods go to india from afg? they have no common border. This tells me that u r a fool or make us look like one, which suggests ur not a pakistani.
^^ Well, guess what? Pakistanis are stupid or why else would they so easily agree to being all evil in response to the ugliest, made up indian accusations & baseless blames & bad mouthing done by indian media & bollysh!t about Pakistanis? They definitely are stupid to give in to this indian aggression (read terrorism) & believe pakistanis are what indian media & bollysh!t portrays them to be. Pakistanis are indeed stupid for not learning their lesson from the 60+ years old history.
And being a Pakistani, I do not find the term 'Paki' offensive. It is a derogatory term in britain for Pakistanis is a very old story I have no interest in. Paki to me is same as 'pure' so I like using this term for pakistanis inclcuding myself. Do you have a problem with that?
Regarding how all the basic food items produced on Pakistani soil are being smuggled to india for the enjoyment of indians & so that Pakistani people could be severely deprived of the food produced for the children of Pakistan (I know.......... how sick could anyone be to do such a thing? None other than indians), do your own investigation if you care.
I make you feel stupid? I am sure indians make you feel very proud through their media & bollysh!t. You sure you're a Paki?

It is better to keep religion in religion forum. This one is political forum.
Why is it that even though Mirzais support separation of religion and politics when it comes to their declaration of kufr, but are the same people who infuse religious texts when discussing politics?
Hypocrisy.
