Worked under the job title of Web developer/Designer and Computer Graphics Designer back in 1999 in an e-commerce business.
Received an honourary degree from the IT dept. of Graduate Center of CUNY (City University of New York) Empire State Bulding, 34th St. in Graphics Designing and Web development/Design back in 2002. :)
simple question, was there a field called graphic design before computers?
in some cases it gets paired up with I/T as I/T tools are increasinglyuse for graphic design execution, as well as graphic desig principles have to be applied in I/T apps/games/tools development.
But it is not a subset of part of I/T.
