Are the terms "Banglore office" or "Delhi Office" getting common in Pak MNCs?

Here in the many large companies in US, and I am sure in Canada, UK and Australia also, the terms Banglore office, or Delhi office have become part of everyday language. I have worked at 2 large companies before, and those two commonly come up like “such and such from the Banglore office called” or “Delhi office is reporting database issues”. There is a lot of work being outsourced over there and that is going to keep on growing.

So, is it common in Pakistani MNCs to be collaborating with their Indian based offices?

Pakistani MNCs???

~Need to think hard about how many do we have and are they big enough to outsource services to India~

About MNCs IN Pakistan, of course they go to India all the time!

Re: Are the terms "Banglore office" or "Delhi Office" getting common in Pak MNCs?

What I meant to say was do employees of MNCs which have offices in Pakistan collaborate with employees who are in India. For example, it's common in companies like Microsoft, Oracle, HP to have a team spread across multiple countries like US, UK, India, China, etc.

Pakistani MNC's do talk to Indian offices just like, they talk to offices in Singapore, Malaysia or Dubai..No big deal though.

^ Agreed. Not everone is driven by rabid nationalism unlike some of our hamsaye.

No offence but it is LOL sort of question. Seriously.

Yes they do. Not only do they collaborate, sometimes there are cross-border reporting lines as well, espeically within regional teams.

Dawood Ibrahim Taskar, originally from Maharashtra, India, now residing in Karachi has a large underworld extortion racket in Mumbai. They are in constant daily contact with their operations guys in Mumbai. The business is in crores of rupees. Many of his assistants commute between Karachi and Mumbai. The whole operation is run in Marathi language as that is his mother-tongue.

Re: Are the terms "Banglore office" or "Delhi Office" getting common in Pak MNCs?

^ Are you sure you are feeling alright? MNCs are being discussed here; not thugs. Unless you consider the 'underworld extortion racket in Mumbai' and Indian MNCs in the same category, your comment does not quite make sense.

and how's this related to the topic on hand?

Re: Are the terms "Banglore office" or "Delhi Office" getting common in Pak MNCs?

'Lahore office' is used in my organisation in london.

They are quite fond of doing this, just take a look at 90% of the topics in WA.

Wrong thread to make such a post friend, ****flaming mostly takes place only in WA and PA

Dawood Ibrahim's operations are bigger than many Pakistani MNCs. He even runs a parallel justice system in Mumbai. If you got a contract dispute with someone, you can can take it to Dawood. For a 15% charge, he will give a fair decision and enforce it, far easier than waiting all your life fo an Indian court to give a decision.
