It seems like some were referring to either you are good looking, dumb, and lacking in moral or you are average to below average but offering great values and intelligence. Upbringing is the environment you were raised in and the experiences are the key. I have seen in desi households that the gora baccha will get more positive attention even from parents. You change your appearance and your experiences change also.
So the million dollar question is when unfit people get negative attention and rejection and lack in confidence, will that make them have better morals, values and will they be more faithful?

I think today guys want to look good for girls but also to keep up with other guys. People want to be the best they can be so they can attract that in others. Its the same with guys. If they are financially independent why would they compromise on looks.

And that my dear niece is my point, for centuries men used their financial strength to get beautiful women and now females have the disposable income to buy boy toys. Look at Lopez. Julia Roberts purchased her husband from his previous wife and offered her 500k to leave him. He stays at home looks after kids, I believe. I watched the documentary a while back.

Good looks are great in a man, of course, but then if he’s a complete mimbo when it comes to anything that requires intelligence, then I’m sure some of those successful, intelligent women that are with them will lose interest very soon. I think of them as those big, bullying pickup trucks on the road and how most likely the ones driving them are the football jocks that have no intelligence but like cracking beer cans on their heads for fun and are allowed to vote. I am not generalizing but i’m not sure whether a guy would still stay with a woman that has absolutely no intelligence whatsoever. I can’t imagine a lifetime with a goodlooking, mimbo and one that doesn’t even find interest in educating himself or see any value in it.
Desi guys are smart, being educated(engineers and doctors…i’m totally stereotyping I know but most are admit it) and if you add the good looks, then it’s an awesome combination. Lord, I can’t believe I just complimented our brown dudes. My water must have been spiked.

People who look after themselves are smart, if you are too dumb to take care of yourself, how is that smart. I was talking to this pint-sized desi guy who was crowing about his degrees and was trying to impress people with the unnecessary use of big words but hadn’t been to a dentist ever and his teeth were disgusting. I had to tell him that he needed to learn to take care of himself before he talks about the mysteries of the universe. And how he had solutions for all the worlds problems.
There isn’t a degree big enough in the universe that could have compelled me to share my bed with a person who had disgusting hygiene.
PS I have seen many unintelligent not so good lucking guys.

I have been around the block a bit so I can definitely say that looks are starting to be valued a lot more. Maybe the media has a lot to do with it. Before if you had a good career you could get your pick of good looking girls. Not so anymore.

Hmm!!48 chest 34 waist is so fat, yeah its fat that lets you bench 280lbs.
Somehow lifting made me get fat at my pecs, shoulders, biceps and triceps. I shouldn`t have lifted.

Most highly eduacted desi girls, settle for not just looks, the guy has to have a great career too. Non desis are a different story, they (not all), look for compatibility a lot. But yes, going to the gym, fitness and over all good looks are valued more than before in both genders.

We have seen many educated girls who started of with really high demands and as they started getting older they started relaxing the demands a bit. Many western girls will marry for money, take his money then marry for love. We live in a neighborhood where many husbands can support their wives and I see that these women are regularly exercising, running, biking and looking after themselves. It seems to be an understanding that if they want to be kept women they need to well maintained.
