Why are we assuming that good looking guys can’t be caring and faithful. If upbringing is solely responsible for values then how come two brothers raised in the same house may have completely different values. My brother had made a similar comment about looks assuming that an average or below average girl will make a better wife and I totally disagree. I have seen some fairly homely girls who weren’t the greatest partners

Our reptilian brains are prewired to be attracted to good looking people. When I looked at the results of my son’s road race many guys in 60s beat many guys in 20s and 30s so people can maintain fitness at an old age also.

errr..they are not assuming that. Illuminate is just stating that Good looks does not automatically equal faithful. Which is right! However and thankfully Good looks and morals aren’t mutually exclusive is and you can and will find people who are attractive and faithful.
As well two brothers can have different friends, different teachers, different experiences in life. One can be rich and the other can be poor. Being raised in the same house hold does not equal upbringing, it is a part of upbringing as a whole.
