A few decades ago an unfit guy who had a decent income could land a beautiful woman, now it seems that unfit men will end up with unfit women especially if the girl has a professional education. As wonderful Miss @Illuminate says that we all bring a certain value to the relationship and that is a sum of looks, personality, morals, and finances. since many women are becoming financially independent guys income becomes lower in needs. My observation is that good looking people are more faithful.

The trend I am seeing in my circle is that most guys/girls are taking care of their bodies, eating healthy and staying fit. Not every guy I know has 6 pack abs or every girl has a ‘thigh gap’ but overall everyone’s in control of their physical health. I think when girls are educated and financially dependent they look for a guy with a similar background but most girls I know would rather have someone whose caring, understanding, respectful, loyal and supportive as compared to having a stud that doesn’t have the above qualities. Good looks have nothing to do with being faithful. That comes from having good morals and upbringing. Girls are using their education and financial strength to get a guy that mans up and provides them the support they need to both build a complete and strong household and family together. Looks fade over time but ambition and hard work stays for life. If a guy can demonstrate that in his work ethic and how he carries himself (and that can include how well he carries himself physically to some degree) then that’s marriage material!
