No disrespect to shias or ismailis..i’m a sunni muslim with a query. If Ahmadhis are non muslims accordin got our govt. cos they believe that GHA was another prophet who came after mohammed ( PBUH)..then wht about shias and ismailis..i was recently told by an ismaili that they are awaiting the coming of a prophet plus they dont follow mohammed (PBUH).. & also they only have 3 salats a day & those salats are diff. from mainstream namaz..
ismailis belief that their imam knows the excat time of qiyamat, and i wont be politically correct here, but that belief alone makes them kafir, and makes even the doubter of their kufr a kafir....
i heard ismaili's dont follow quran or sunnah just the imams, if dats true they are kaafir.

Again, no offence intended shiraz CT, but i have been told by the same person that ismailies are an offshoot of shias & that the beliefs are quite similar..so can U enlighten me

Ismailis are not waiting for another prophet and do claim to follow the Prophet (s). As such they a sect of Muslims. This much I know. I suggest instead of people conjecturing on it either an Ismaeli answer or people should post with reference to Ismaeli text. After all, you guys are debating whether an entire sect(s) is either muslim or non-muslim!
Any one what bases can you call shia kaffirs? Like any other sect we pray five times a day, fast in the month of ramzan, perform hajj, pay zakat, believe on Prophet Mohammad P.B.U.H. as the last Prophet Mohammad P.B.U.H., believes in the day of judgement. I don't thing anybody as a right to rule us out as non muslims.

Here's my understanding,
Shias do pray 5 salaats. Its just that they combined it. Fajr (1) , Zuhr and Asr (2) , Maghrib and Ishaa (3).
I think sunnis are non muslims.

I am a practicing shia and the only side I have prayed is facing towards Qaba, never went to the those shrines but As shia’s we pray towards Qaba, seems like you are the only witness… without referencing…and seems like your previous stories sounds all cooked up so I won’t believe it..**

** And i think the opposite… Our beloved Imam sacrificed his own family but didnt give alligance to people like yazeed… yeah I see some political motives on disobeying Prophet Mohammad hadith of ghadeer, or taking a land back from Bibi Fatima Zehra S.A. and claiming that she can’t inherit something that she was given to her by Prophet Mohammad P.B.U.H. himself… on top of it present a hadith that contradicts quran and on top of it makes Prophet MOhammad P.B.U.H. angry.

And what are you talking about… sounds like you are too high… In todays society you have trouble getting your hands on Quran…boy what world have you been living in… I have alot of them in my home, if you want I can send you internet links to it.
Seems like someone has mistaught you a lot about shiasm… go and talk to some shia alim rather than believing all the rumors flowing around..for now it sounds like you are the one spreading some false rumors which I as shia was never taught.
My father has great inclination towards shia’s. I my self have great respect for shia’s. But its those ‘Kutter’ Shia’s and those ‘Kutter’ Sunni’s who make each other lives difficult.
This is a never ending war between shia’s and sunni’s. Yes all the civilized/educated shia they DO NOT have the same practices as the shia’s living in the villages of pakistan. That is my opinon…

Will you please stop throwing "kafir" label on each other. Who are we to decide whether one's true muslim or something else. Please dont stick to your stated positions and try to find youselves the truth. What Allah and his Rasool has taught us. Be strict not on your respective Sect but on fundamentals of Islam and be flexible and tolerant to each other's views. Live your life according to Quraan & Sunnah and leave the rest to the Divine Judgement. I respect all the different school of thought within Sunni's (Deoband, Brelvi and Ahl Hadith) & Shias and regard all of them as my Muslim fellows(There might be some difference of opinion on some matters). However, I doubt Qadianis, Bhahaies and Ismailies have the true soul of Islam. In my view they better fall in the category of non-muslims. Allah sab ko Hidayat naseeb farmaye. Amen.
Sammer sahib , on the one had u rightly say that who are we to say who is muslim and who is nt..on the other hand u plainly say that qadianis, bahais & ismailis are non muslims..are u stating these on hearsay or on well researched information by yrself..If hearsay, then not good ..if researched, then can u prove yr point.
