I don't think they would jeopardize their place in the team by demanding release of Imran Khan... they shouldn't actually ask as "players", rather they could join ongoing protests and support them.

its really tricky
players generally should not get into politics, but with the situation in pakistan, they might be more inclined to voice their opinion for a change; although i dont think anything will happen especially with PCB controlled by Musharraf.

who will risk income in millions of rupees by siding with Imram khan, supporter and sympathizer of taliban, terrorists and extremists. ppl back home [those in good positions] hardly notice any chance as long as they get their hefty salaries, bonuses and bribes. our cricket team is no different. imran khan is thing of the past. you 'll only get chitter and thuday by siding with him. better to let him fight his demons on his own while we [team pak] get our butt(s) [salman anyone?] kicked by the mighty indians. :halo:

Musharaf controls everything in Pakistan. He is the WORST dictator in the world, luckly he has full support from Bush. No one can stop him.
