In India as per a Supreme Court ruling the loudspeakers are not allowed from 10 PM till 6 AM for any purpose, political or religious.
But in Delhi, in the capital, many Mosques start Azan on loudspeakers at 5 AM disturbing everyone’ sleep in surrounding area. In Ramzan days one can expect loudspeaker louds at any time at night hrs. (Situation must be worse in other States.)
I asked an SHO of a Police station, why the police force does not take any action. He showed his complete impotency in this matter being a minority religious issue. As per his words, I could lodge an FIR against the Mufti/ Imam of the Mosque but I must be ready to face all consequences.
At the same time the Police are very alert against Hindus using loudspeaker in night hrs anywhere in India.
So, when I read all kind of Islamic propaganda against India, and find the reality in an entirely different shape………….

SC no to Maha plea on loudspeaker ban
Nights in Maharashtra would be quieter during this Ganesh Chaturthi festival as the Supreme Court today declined the plea for an interim order allowing the state government to relax the ban on use of loudspeakers between 10.00 pm and midnight.
A three-judge bench, comprising Chief Justice R C Lahoti, Justice B N Srikrishna and Justice P K Balasubramanyan, refused to pass any order on a petition seeking a two-hour relaxation of the Supreme Court ban on use of loudspeakers between 10.00 pm and 6.00 am.
