If a woman is not to see a (stranger) man, than do we hide our men too?![]()

Re: Are men treasures too?
Yes, the "sattar" of a man should be hidden just like that of a woman. It is just that Allah (swt) and the Prophet (saw) have defined a "sattar" for men that is different then the "sattar" defined for women, but some people try to make their own definition of "sattar" that is different then the one defined in Islam.
Re: Are men treasures too?
^This is nott whatt she is askingg ok? sattar this or sattar that. This world needs more people like Muhammed, Gandhi, Quid e Azam to make this world a better place first then we will worry about "sattar". Sheesh.
That should make a very interesting wedding night.

"Sattar" is not an English word, but commonly used in Urdu. It is a must for every Muslim (men and women respectively) to follow it, as per the instructions of the Prophet (saw) that were always in accordance to the orders of Allah (swt).
I understand why you couldn't get it in the first place (being a non-Muslim). Hopefully you do now. A Muslim would have to come out of (leave) Islam in order to object to the Islamic ruling on "sattar". (A rule not created by me, but obviously not a rocket science to understand by WHOM).

objecting to or not following something makes a a muslim a nonmuslim? I thought only shirk did that
I dont think Pakiqueen was objecting to sattar anyways but mentioning that the question was not about sattar
Re: Are men treasures too?
^ That ayah:
Allah (swt) said, “
Allah does not forgive that you make shirk with Him but he forgives everything other than that to whomever he chooses.” [4:48]
indicates that if a person dies without doing taubah of shirk, he is in big trouble. For the rest Allah (swt) may forgive whomever He wishes to. (it is about intentional/unintentional sins, but doesn't mention anything about intentionally rejecting any ruling of Islam/order of Allah (swt).
My point was about 'conceptual denial', that a person can't say "I am a Muslim but don't agree with a certain point/ruling of Islam/ order of Allah" Because by definition "Muslim" means the one who (totally/completely) submits to Allah's will. (unintentional/intentional sins are forgiven, but to intentionally oppose any rule made/clearly stated by Allah (swt) takes him out of Islam. I don't have references at the moment, you may ask any scholar in your area who will give you reference of Quran and Hadith about it)
Well, actually PakiQueen's point that " the question was not about sattar" forced me to explain what sattar means, because I thought the question was very much related to sattar. (hiding oneself/part of oneself from na-mehrams), and thinking that the question was not related to it might be due to lack of knowledge about sattar.
Anyways, just my understandings and my views might be flawed in certain areas in certain aspects. Allah (swt) knows Best!
Re: Are men treasures too?
Well even if you hide "some" men they still would find their ways :-p

Crime i know what "sattar" is. You didn't answer the question OP was asking instead you went on explaining what "sattar" is defined as. OP was not asking about "sattar" of men or women. I mean is it hard to understand?
Re: Are men treasures too?
No.
