Are there any Kayanis on this board? Does anyone know if Kayanis really have Persian/Irani heritage? I am a Kiani, but I don’t think I look like an Irani. I look more like central-asian than anything. I also kind of look like a brown skinned east-European…to be more specific, a bit like a Romanian or a Bulgarian.
Are Kainis/Kayanis Persian? Any one knows the answer to this question?
Edit: Almost forgot to mention, I have also been told that I look like a Bengali/East-Indian by one guy at my former university.
Interesting, I always thought the Kayanis were a Kashmiri tribe as they are mainly found in Azad Kashmir and the Potohar region. However, it is said that they migrated from Iran area many centuries ago and settled in Potohar. Hmm.. idk.
