Lol, Mulz those figures are too much man! 70-75 for Pakistan and 5-10 for India lol. But really there is a fact here. Pakistan is west of India, so any European settlers or conquerors would have reached Pakistan more easly than India. Another thing, is India goes further south, so the heat is and light intensity of the sun near the equator was involved in evolution process that preffered black skin colour. So yeah there SHOULD be significantly more light-browns in Pakistan as compared to India. But after partition and people migrating due to belief and not origin and skin colour, they all got mixed up. So Pakistan may have the upperhand (if you can call it that) but its very very close comparing only NORTH INDIA and PAKISTAN.
As for asians...they are any one from asia. Some people have this image or feel (especially those in the west) that asian refers to Chinese or Japanese people. Thats not true. Indians, Arabs, some Turks and Japanese are all just as asian as the other. Its like how in Pakistans rural areas, amrikee would be a gora but some really DARK people are also Americans in reality.
Most of the upper cast North Indian Hindus (Brahmins) have fair skin. I would say 75%. Even a good percentage of upper caste Brahmins in South India too are quite fair. If you take Brahmin population of India as around 15% then you can safely say that 10% of Hindu population is as fair as majority of Pakistanis. Again, amongst muslims, only Kashmiris and some muslim groups in North India have fair skin while in southern part some Hyderabadi muslims are fair. I would say that out of 13% population of Indian muslim (muslims are 13% of Indian population as per latest sensus) only 2 to 3% would qualify to be fair. As a whole I will say that 13% to 14% of Indian population have similar skin colour like majority (30% to 40%) of Pakistanis.
I find most of the Pakistani Sindhis and over 50% of Punjabis as dark skinned. May be I am wrong but I find myself to be more fair skinned than majority of Pakistani Punjabis and Sindhis. I am yet to find a Pakistani Sindhi who is fair skinned.

Deve Gowda is not a Brahmin. Rather Ramakrishna Hegde was brahmin and quite fair. Both are from Karnataka.

My Indian muslim buddies from UP, Bihar etc. though initially resistive to divluge any details about their treatment by the majority community would tell me the horror of communal riots and large-scale loss of lives of muslims and killing of them without their fault... In States like Rajasthan and Gujarat they have converted back to lower-caste Hindoos to escape anger and butchering of the right-wing north indians... Allah unhey akal de.. Well, then not all Hindoos are bad I guess- some try to be extra nice knowing what innocent patriotic muslims have to undergo. How do right wing Hindoos react to muslims cheering for Pakistan.. I remember watching India and Pakistan play each other in Lucknow and there was a section of crowd consisting of Indian muslim cheering for Pakistan :D.. What about Kashmir..? ^ This is a huge difference between India and Pakistan. Pakistan was created by Quaid-e-Azam for everyone. We treat everyone equal including ppl who came from India as well minorities like- Shia, Ahmedi, Ismailis, Mohajirs, Bohris, and others.. .Amen

Sal u r totally out of ur mind. Which part of India are u coming from. All the muslims I have seen in my life in India are as pro Indian as any Indian should be. Who knows what u r saying is true. Besides those who feel threatened should voice their protest openl, u have so many political parties who cater to the muslim masses, do u think they will keep quite if such discrimination is being followed in india. U r own Hyderbad, has a biggest thug, Ovaisi as the MP and controlls Hyderabad like his pet dog, why didnt u take it up to him. Last time when I was in Hyderabad, I thought I was in a different state all together , there was nothing written in Telugu, everything in Arabic. You see, I have not criticized India. I just responded to a specific question in this forum. I have only told the truth of mistreatment to me last year by Hyderabad custom officers. It happened on 26th Feb 2005. Lufthansa staff tried to help me and pleaded a lot on my behalf since I had traveled thrice by Lufthansa in the past and they had issued me a first class ticket as bonus for that flight. I had always boarded my international flight either from Mumbai or from Chennai. But I had no experience about Hyderabad airport and I never thought that the staff was so communal. I will tell you the exact word they used after allowing me to board "WE WILL NOT ALLOW ANY PAKISTANI TO BOARD FROM HERE". That particular guy was also making ugly joke of Lalu and Paswan.
Now I will come to you. Most of the Hindus are secular minded and have strong religious tolerance (I must admit that it's better than muslims). But some sections (you probably belong to that tribe) are really dirty and should not exist in the country. It is people like you who created a fear in muslim masses which eventually resulted in the division of the country.
I didn't leave India because of any sort of discrimination. I left the country to experience the adventure and excitement of living in a multicultural society. I owe a lot to the country and would always be grateful and loyal to the Indian people. Most of my Hindu colleagues always wanted me to succeed and a stray incidence of discrimination (from people like you) won't change my thinking.

But Hindoos do follow a weird religion and are narrow minded/racist towards other religions. Indians should learn from us, Pakistanis. As I said before we treat Indian muslims better.. I am not sure you know this or not- MQM has a stake in the govt. in Sindh.. Danish Kaneria is a proud Pakistani and a happy to be in Pakistan.. Despite being a sunni Punjabi majority country, Pakistan is for all.. ameen!

Sal, So the division of the country had nothing to do with the superiority complex that ur muslim brothers have across the boder. They still think that they are some king of martial race , God ordained to enslave the rest of humanity.
Whenever i voted, 4 times, i never voted for a religious party. Actually I voted always for the congress. U can check all my post, I neve supported BJP or RSS. My best friend is a muslim and a christian. U rightly said its because of us that India is still secular. But my tolerance and my idea about Islam were all gone for a toss after joining this forum. The hatred that u guys have for Hindus( I am not a great believer though), made me take up sides. People like u rather than support ur country men, and clear whatever misunderstanding, would rather take the side of guppies who are having only a very biased, and screwed up view of my country and the people. I actually pray now, pray that i dont get this hatred entrenched in me.
One good thing is that whenever i go to India, and meet my friend, a hug from him, and all my hatred whateve that is there is lost. I am thankfull to him and people like him, who always reminds me that so called radical muslims in this forum only represents a minority.
Hopefully people like u , who are ever paranoid of the Hindu living next doar will not change my view of Muslims in general. Actually it is the same parnoid that created PAKISTAN.
